Getting started
Download MedVault from the App Store, create an account with your email, and set a password you will remember. You can start adding records straight away — add as little or as much as you like.
Help signing in and with two-factor codes
MedVault uses two-factor authentication to help keep your account safe, so you confirm a second step when you sign in. If you are not receiving your code or are having trouble entering it, email us and we will help you get back in. Please note your password is the only key to your encrypted notes: if you forget it, those notes cannot be recovered, so keep it somewhere safe such as a password manager.
How and where your data is stored
Your information is stored in Australia, on servers in Sydney. Your private notes are encrypted on your own device so only you can read them, and your other details are kept in a secured Australian database. Your information is not sent overseas.
How to export your data
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information held about your account at any time by emailing team@studioparallel.com.au, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
How to delete your data and account
You can permanently delete your account from inside the app — there is no need to contact us first:
  1. Open MedVault and tap the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Read the warning, then tick the box “I understand this permanently deletes my account and all my records.”
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. When asked “Delete your account?”, tap Delete forever to confirm.
Your account — along with the records, documents and notes you have added — is then permanently removed, and you are signed out. Because your private notes are encrypted and only your password can unlock them, they are already unreadable to us, and your encryption key is erased as part of the deletion, so your data cannot be recovered.If you would prefer us to do it for you, or you cannot sign in, email team@studioparallel.com.au and we will take care of it for you.

  • What is stored. Only what you add — your account email, and the records, documents and notes you choose to enter.

  • Encryption. Your private notes are encrypted on your own device, so only you can read them.

  • Your control. You can view, correct, export or delete your information at any time.
